Who is Connected Payments for?
We're especially interested in B2B platforms, software providers and business networks that already serve multiple Australian SMEs and want to explore helping those businesses access payments capability. Individual SMEs are welcome to enquire too.
Do we need to be a software platform?
No. If your business already supports a network of SMEs and you see an opportunity to help them with payments, we'd like to understand it. The first conversation is about your customers and their needs.
What happens in an exploratory chat?
We'll discuss your business, the SMEs you reach, their current payment workflows and what you'd like to improve. Together we can consider whether there is a fit and what would need further investigation. There is no commitment to proceed.
Do we need an integration plan or a minimum number of SMEs?
You don't need a finished technical plan to start a conversation. Share the size and type of your SME audience, even if it's an estimate. Any eligibility requirements would be discussed if a specific opportunity progresses.
Are connected payments available now?
No. Online, recurring and remote payment capabilities are coming soon. Software-connected and embedded payment experiences are on the longer-term roadmap. Sphere's current focus is Clover point-of-sale solutions for Australian SMEs.
Is there a confirmed launch date or pricing?
We haven't confirmed a launch date or pricing for Connected Payments. Scope, timing, provider arrangements and commercial terms will need to be confirmed before any service is offered.
